Doosan, the under 10 million solution

Doosan is a company on the west coast of Florida.  The company VP/engineer drove all the way over here on April 15th to speak to the commission about his system which is packaged in .5 or 1 mgd (million gallon per day) increments.  The less than 10 million price tag takes advantage of the efficiency and size of the design which could be housed in the existing building thus knocking out 3 to 4 million off the price right off.

Unfortunately for the city, the Doosan VP/engineer got hung up in traffic and arrived a few minutes after he was supposed to have filled in a blue card and hence wasn't allowed to speak or even present his ideas and knowledge.  In the city memo dated April 23rd, just 8 days after the commission rushed the decision for county water, a memo appeared from the utility department mentioning this as yet another cost effective alternative to spending 20 million on county infrastructure to help them get further into the water business.  Now it appears that Mr Baldwin's next move will be to dispose of the wells or put them out of our control.
