State and National On File: Why Sarah Palin is unfit for office

Why Sarah Palin is unfit for office

Recently in an interview with Barbara Walters, Sarah Palin was asked about the middle east problem and whether or not she would favor expanding settlements in the Palestinian areas. A bouncy Palin instantly responded that she definitely would support it and indicated that it was the right thing to do. Walters somewhat puzzled by the callous response asked her again and Palin offered the same enthusiastic response.

The Democracy Project is my way of saying "I will listen to you." This tool will give you a voice in your government allowing for continual polling of public opinion.

The DEMOCRACY PROJECT is the first of its kind secure local voting system which I introduced two and a half years ago. It levels the playing field and for the first time will make public participation in government CONVENIENT AND EFFECTIVE reducing special interest influence, holding public officials accountable and providing Quality Control for government. It is ready to go NOW and has been fully tested. It will provide the public and the commission unprecedented information about the public will... an essential tool to bring TRUST back in government bring Peace to the city by legitimizing decisions with a consensus. The Democracy Project insures that government can become proactive instead of reactive as we see now.

Suzanne Mulvehill adopted COAKLEY PLAN C ("C" for Coakley) which was developed about 4 years ago. Suzanne used it and materials on this site as the central core of her platform to get elected in 2008. This was another long term vision I had to restore a sense of pride in the city. My ideas included upper level dinning (I will try to post pics taken from the upper level outside), hosting temporary space services for corporations, a museum since the site qualifies as an archeological site, an auxilliary commission meeting room, and possibly a gym which at one time... it had. Below is the link to the Lake Worth Beach History published about 4 years ago by LWM.

Analysis

Those active in Lake Worth politics are probably fewer than a hundred with another fifty or so that remain connected but are not so active unless problems strike close to a nerve. Control questions 13 – 15 indicate the distribution from opposing views.

As stated previously any extrapolations from this sample for predicting what the general public will is… depends on how you view the representative nature of the core 100. Do they represent the will of the people and what extent is purely speculative.

These ballots will be rotated throughout the election along with other issue ballots to see what trends may develop.

During these first voting sessions, we are getting a feel for this state of the art system. We are debugging the operational glitches and creating refinements for the future transition into our first promotional campaign designed to increase the visibility of the System and the positive things it can contribute to the community, the commission, and to Peace in our city… by making government work like it should. In the meantime, we are all learning a little more about ourselves and our city in a totally new and innovative way.

First is the 96% that believe they should be able to vote on what happens to the beach with one lone vote in opposition.

85% are against removing the beach front parking

93% are against going back to nature and having a passive park at the beach

82% believe the Chamber of Commerce is politically charged despite CEO’s claim

82% are in favor of charging impact fees for new development putting new load on the electric system

50% would agree to having this CRA board terminated, while another 21% give it very low grades, but 25% rate it about average to above average.

Lake Worth On File: LWM announces the first ballot - voting Tuesday 9.2.08

Untitled Document

Voting will begin Monday September 1, 2008

CLICK HERE TO SEE WHAT'S ON THE BALLOT   for this Tuesday's voting.

<>The Democracy Project is underway and the voting system is ready and being tested.  For those registered as members of LWM, voting will begin Monday September 1st, 2008, results will be posted late Tuesday or Wednesday.

All voting is conducted on a secure server and is name/password protected to inusre one vote per person. The plan is to have a ballot tally every Tuesday night on whatever voting is taking place.  Candidates will benefit by having a feedback system in place to help them refine and clarify their message and the public will benefit by having a flow of information directly from thecandidates.   And both the public and candidates can request that items be placed on the ballot.

LWM estimates that with somewhere around 300 voting (assuming good demographic distribution) some degree of accuracy can be obtained.  Over the next few weeks, we hope to register as many as possible so this can work for all of us.  Please tell your friends and ask them to register for voting on Lake Worth Media.

Go Daddy Web Hosting... is it as good as they say?

High site downtime, server down, slow server, 20 minute waits for tech support are serious indications Go Daddy is not what it used to be.  Having had a good experience with Go Daddy from years ago (immediate tech support, site always up, fast working site, I recommended Go Daddy to many friends), in March of 2007, I placed a new site on Go Daddy and at first everything went well. But after 6 months with a few major problems like not being able to upload/download anything to my site for 8 hours… other more serious problems arose causing clients to call with complaints of a slow or non working site. This is truly embarrassing for any site owner. Go Daddy performance claims weren’t adding up.
